2016 Canoe Camping Season

I know you’re thinking about it.  I can tell because our website traffic is already starting to pick up. All that business stuff we keep track of is starting to vibrate just a bit more than it did a few weeks ago when the Holidays was #1 on everyone’s mind.  There’s a pivot happening right now, the desire for winter to be over and fun in the sun to begin…or at least the planning of it.Lunch on a sand bar...no one goes hungry!

If you think about it there’s only two hardcore months, or 8 weeks, or 60 days, or 1,440 hours of winter left.  Yeah, there will be some super dreary days ahead, snow will be left to shovel and we may see another Polar Vortex or two…but we’re on the downhill side of it all now.  I don’t know about you but I can feel the momentum building.

We feel super fortunate to be in a position to provide memories for friends and family on the Wisconsin River. We’re proud of the equipment we supply as well as the service. We’re not perfect, we stumble on occasion, but we always work to learn from our missteps and do our best not to repeat them.

I LOVE greeting customers! I enjoy talking with them prior to the departure on their trip and hearing how “manyth” year this is for them paddling with WRO. I love talking to them when they return from the river and hearing the stories that can only happen when friends and family are out on the river enjoying time together – technology lite. I love hearing about the wildlife they saw, fish they almost caught and the meals they enjoyed with on our river.

We’ve already started booking for 2016! The early season paddlers are excited, the high season paddlers KNOW we’ve got a boat with their name on it and there are even boats already booked for the color change in October. We’re waiting for your call, email or online booking.  WRO has already awoken from its slumber and we’re excited about the 2016 paddle season!

We’ll see you on the river!
