Current Designs Whistler Kayaks

The Whistler (while the specs are the same for the boat in this link it is the redesigned model for 2011, similar but not exactly the same as the boats we have to offer) is what Current Designs refers to as a "transitional kayak."  This boat is longer and narrower than a recreational kayak, but is shorter and a bit wider than a touring kayak.  This design blends a happy medium between a kayak that tracks well and efficiently in the water but is more stable for the beginner/intermediate paddler.  These kayaks are 14.5′ long and 24" wide with a shallow V hull for stability and efficiency.  This kayak currently retails for $1299.

$750 per kayak.  We also have vests and paddles available for an additional charge.

NO GLASS, STYROFOAM or FIREWORKS on the River

It is illegal to be in possession of glass on the Wisconsin River. Assume you WILL be searched by the WI Dept. of Natural Resources. If caught you will face a fine of upto $749 for the possession of glass (beer bottles, jelly jars, mayo jars, wine bottles).

Fireworks are also illegal and punishable by fines. We are trying to provide a peaceful experience for our paddlers and the many migratory birds that we share the river with. Leave your glass and fireworks at home and save yourself the fine for being in possession of them on the river.
