The New Year is right around the corner and WRO is already excited about about the coming paddle season! We admit that we won’t be on the water for another 4 or 5 months but just because we’re not on the river doesn’t mean we’re not working to prepare for the 2016 paddle season.

The Hit List

  • Reorganization of office space for our reservationists 2012-05-14 16.44.23
  • Website updates/upgrades
  • Purchase of new (used) buses
  • We’re hoping to skid plate approximately 100 canoes before they go on the water
  • Build a kayak corral in Sauk City and a kayak rack in Boscobel
  • Build a new tube trailer for Sauk City
  • “Build” shade for the boat cleaners and Canoe Garden in Sauk City
  • Attend several conferences/seminars/webinars to challenge our grey matter

I think most staff would admit, the first 30 days after we put the last person on the water is really nice (we relearn our families names to start with)…but then we start chomping at the bit for the next season to get here.

Give us a call or email us if you have any questions or wish to book your 2016 trip NOW while dates are wide open.  We look forward to seeing you on the Wisconsin River!
